How we rate and check crypto casinos

Updated 15 October 2026 · Edited by the Aussie Crypto Casino Guide editorial team · 18+ only

In short: we do not invent scores. Every figure on this site comes from a named source with a check date, conflicts between sources are shown rather than hidden, and anything we calculate ourselves is labelled as ours.

Four rules behind every number

1Sourced and dated

Each figure traces to a named review or official page, and each page shows when its facts were last checked.

2Cross-checked

When a second credible outlet covers the same casino, we compare. If they disagree, the conflict goes on the page.

3Our maths is labelled

Fee percentages, library shares and edge counts are our calculations from sourced inputs, and we say so next to them.

4Conflicts stay visible

We publish the awkward cases in where the sources disagree instead of picking the nicer number.

What we leave out

  • Pages that copy other sites, carry no date, or make claims with nothing checkable behind them.
  • Licence claims without a licence number we can check. See how to check a licence.
  • Partner promo codes presented as general offers. A code that one outlet negotiated for its own readers is not a standard bonus.

How we compare: the “Edge” method

We do not publish a made-up out-of-10 score. In the comparison table we mark the stronger side of each row with an Edge, based only on the sourced figures. Ties get no mark. We show the tally so you can see the balance. We show Casino.org’s own rating separately and credit it to them.

Example row
Thrill
Cybet
Minimum withdrawal
2.5 USDT Edge
$10

The lower minimum wins that row because it lets you cash out smaller balances. On a row like “Cards, PayID, fiat”, where both say no, nobody gets an edge.

A worked example, start to finish

Here is how one row, “Minimum withdrawal”, goes from source to mark.

  1. Find the figures. Casino.org’s Thrill review lists minimums of 2.5 USDT and 0.001 ETH. Its Cybet review lists $10.
  2. Compare like with like. USDT tracks the US dollar, so 2.5 USDT is roughly $2.50. Cybet’s $10 applies to every coin.
  3. Decide the edge. The lower minimum wins the row, so Thrill gets the mark.
  4. Add context from our own maths. Cybet also charges a flat $1 to $3 fee. On a $10 cash-out that is 10% to 30%, which we show in the fee calculator.

How we make money, and what it does not change

Links to casinos on this site are affiliate links and may earn us a commission. They are marked as sponsored. We do not accept payment to change a figure, an edge or a conflict shown on a page. If a casino’s terms change, we update the page whatever it means for the commission.

What we can’t tell you

Our main sources review the Canadian editions of these casinos, so bonuses, limits and payment options can differ for players in Australia. We have not yet run our own deposits and withdrawals. We are not lawyers, tax agents or financial advisers. Read the legal position and confirm current terms on the casino’s site before you deposit.

Corrections and updates

Every page shows when its facts were last checked. If a figure changes, or a reader points out an error, we correct it and update the date. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.
